| Giving up smoking is difficult and many smokers fail in their quit attempts
because they rely on methods that are not very effective. |
 |
| Most use either willpower alone, or are persuaded to use techniques that claim
unrealistically high success rates despite there being little or no scientific
basis to these claims. |
 |
| The Quit@Work™ programme is different. It
is evidence-based and has achieved exceptional success rates with an average of
6 out of 10 participants abstinent at the end of the course. |
 |
| Quit@Work™ is a recognised smoking
cessation course working in conjunction with quit smoking therapies, including
Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and Bupropion (Zyban) |
|
| As the Quit@Work™ programme is a complete
smoking cessation course, the employer is not required to offer any extra
incentives to encourage staff to stop smoking. |
